I am a recent Part II Graduate with over 16 months of professional practical experience. My Master’s degree was attained at The Leeds School of Architecture, where I achieved a Distinction in Design. I am currently looking for my next placement along my architectural career.
My studies within architecture have led me to study the impact of design in many cities around the world including, Venice, Istanbul, and most recently, London and Mumbai (India) during the Masters Course. This has led me to appreciate that most of the development in cities outside of Europe occurs without architects or formal planning but how these solutions can be learnt from and influence how you design in these environments.
The studio group that I took part in is Cinematic Commons, this is a film based studio, using the media of film to explore architecture concepts and designs of new constructs of commons. The use of film helps to articulate our understanding of designs through set models, inhabited by props. By doing this we exepiernce the spaces designed in a three dimensional space.
Upon completing my education, I now wish to expand my architectural experience and join a team that is creative, vibrant and dynamic in which my skills and personality will be an asset to the company.
I have been able to gain experience in practice having worked at Holder Mathias Architects in both their Cardiff and London Offices and most recently my part one placement year at Churchill Hui in London.

On the exterior of the exhibition space students work was displayed, showing films stills from the years work and drawings from their projects.

The optical illusion was created by lowering a mirror into a recess below the projections.

Adding to the space, the Indian decorations and the smell of incense was used to portray another level to the experience within the exhibition.
